MAKING MONKEYS OUT OF MEN

When Charles Darwin published his Origin of the Species he set forth his theory that men are made out of monkeys. Amazingly this theory is now accepted as scientific fact and is the only allowable teaching on origins that is allowed in our government schools. It is taught as scientific fact even though science is a field of empiricism and not one of the proponents of evolution has even once been able to replicate one of its teachings. Satan deviously used Darwin's desire to reject the God of Genesis and the Bible to attempt to rid the whole world of Him. Convincing the world that the first verse in the Bible is a lie could very well be paramount to convincing the world that the Bible is entirely irrelevant.

Satan has convinced man through the teaching of evolution to make the blasphemous assumption that man himself-a creation of God-can explain his creation without the aid of God and His Word. Inventions such as the Hubbell space telescope are supposed to tell us how "it all started". Surely, "He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the LORD shall hold them in derision" (Psalm 2:4) when we consider that the first two chapters in the Bible tell us how "it all started". As these evolutionists postulate their ideas about origins and evolution, God could well speak to them as he spoke to the patriarch Job in chapter 38. Verse 2 could very well be God's challenge to the false information taught by evolutionists, "Who is this who darkens counsel by words without knowledge". God's question in verse 4 would put a stop to all false theories very quickly, "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?".

Evolution's greatest damage is done in the understanding man has of himself. Darwinian theory has man as a product of impersonal time plus chance plus matter. His meaning is purely subjective. Morality is defined by man himself, because there is no other authority. Death brings annihilation for everyone. Satan is using these lies to deceive man into thinking that there is not a God that he is accountable to. On the other hand the Biblical account of creation teaches that man was created by God in His image and is loved by Him (so much so that His own dear Son died for man). Furthermore, man has value and dignity which is derived from God. Morality if defined by God and does not change and he will hold man accountable. Death will bring eternal bliss in heaven in the presence of God for those who have accepted Jesus Christ's redemptive work on their behalf. For those who reject God and His Son as did Darwin, eternity in hell awaits them. Darwin has certainly made monkeys out of those men who foolishly choose to believe his theory.
